Breaching into “Five Nights at Freddy’s”

(11/15/22 5:00pm)

Scott Cawthon is the genius behind the horrific franchise of “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (FnaF) and from 2014 to 2018, he independently published and developed the first five games. However, in late 2018, he announced his upcoming projects would be in collaboration with smaller game company Steel Wool Studios. Netflix’s ‘The Watcher’ is not worth watching

(11/15/22 5:00pm)

“The Watcher,” a Netflix original television show released on Oct. 13, has taken the internet by storm because of its mysterious, based-on-a-true-story and frustrating plot line. Six weeks go by and they are happier than ever in their new home, until they get a suspicious letter in the mail from someone named The Watcher.

Meghan Trainor’s album "TAKIN’ IT BACK" takes sound too far back

(11/08/22 8:00pm)

Meghan Trainor’s newest album definitely “made us look.” However, its repetitiveness and clichés are hard to ignore if you are a long-time fan like me.

“Black Adam” is the DC Universe at “Rock” bottom

(11/06/22 8:00pm)

It is difficult to put into words the feeling of being a DC fan nowadays. While the company has always been behind Marvel in regard to its cinematic universe, the company in recent years seemed like it had finally found its stride. With films like “The Batman” and “The Suicide Squad,” it appeared that DC had finally learned its lesson and were letting directors make the movies they wanted to make with little interference from the studio.

‘Halloween Ends’ is about as fun as a rotting pumpkin

(10/25/22 4:00pm)

The “Halloween” franchise, in its nearly 45-year lifespan, has definitely seen its ups and downs. The original 1978 film by John Carpenter is a masterpiece, and some of the sequels have been quite entertaining. However, other installments have included Busta Rhymes, a part of the Cult of Thorn, and two gritty remakes by Rob Zombie. When the franchise rebooted in 2018, it was promising to be a trilogy that would end the series properly. Now comes “Halloween Ends,” which looks to be the final battle between Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers.

Review: Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ album

(10/25/22 4:00pm)

On Oct. 21, Taylor Swift dropped her new studio album: “Midnights.” The album was written on the premise of 13 sleepless nights she has experienced. Swift’s stories tell tales of self-loathing, revenge and love. Her newer music before this record found a home in the indie-folk genre, while “Midnights” is her return to pop. The album sounds much different than her previous pieces of work while still intricately lacing in concepts and sounds found throughout her discography.
