As technology advances, it seems as though people lose touch with reality more and more. Walking around campus, you will not see a single person without a phone in his or her hand or looking down at some sort of device.
People today have become so consumed with technology and by obsessing over reality stars, reality has been lost.
With the presidential election quickly approaching, the media have played a huge role in how the candidates are perceived. Many news stations fit into the category of being primarily liberal or conservative. This year especially has shown that separation.
Social media is influencing people’s views about the election.
As we are rapidly nearing the election, it is more important now than ever to be informed about the decision you plan on making. Some seem to go into the polls, thinking it is no big deal and they can just vote for whatever name sounds good to them. While one-night stands can be perceived as dangerous and forbidden, having one can become less dangerous and more about embracing your sexual nature.
SU students show their support for the faculty during the strike by bringing them food and drinks, and making a thoughtful dessert for them to enjoy.
The strike has finally ended, but before a tentative agreement was reached, seniors at Shippensburg University wondered how the strike would affect their future.
After seeing what has transpired over these last two weeks, I am horrified, and quite frankly, ashamed of the lengths that some will go in order to win this election for “their side.”
