Modern housing and the evolution of the campus lifestyle awaits Shippensburg University's near future as plans move forward for a $63 million construction project to replace the campus' aging residence halls.

Men’s Basketball vs. ESU


The Shippensburg University men’s basketball team fell to East Stroudsburg University Saturday, 69-64 at Heiges Field House.
Despite leading 34-32 at the half, SU could not hold on to its lead.

 

 

Raider Track Wins 6 Events at Millersville


Freshman Megan Rhyner had an outstanding performance in the 800-meter run. She placed second in the 800 with a time of 2 minutes 14.52 seconds. Rhyner’s time just missed the NCAA provisional-qualifying mark.


SU Qualified 37 Men for PSAC Championships

 

Shippensburg University’s men’s track and field team had 37 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers after it traveled to Millersville University on Saturday.

The Meaning Behind Wedding Rings

So unless you have been living under a very large rock, it is not news that Prince William proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Kate Middleton. The wedding is approaching, and with all the hype, it was recently announced that Prince William is opting out of wearing a wedding band. At first, I was a little shocked by this morsel of information. However, after reading a little more, it appears that it is not uncommon for royals to only have a one-wedding-band ceremony.

Ship Idol Picks its Final Two

As seven weeks pass and seven contestants were eliminated from the competition, the remaining three contestants of Ship Idol battle it out to make it to the final two. With their nerves building in anticipation each contestant sang two songs on Wednesday, April 6, in Grove Forum. The contestants each sang an epic ballad and a song of the judges’ choice.
